Conflict with other plugins when activating apply_filters(“the_content”, …)

I’m experiencing a problem with Page Builder in combination with a plugin called WP-Worthy. When activated it happens to several pages, that when Page Builder loads the contents in the editor, it loads those of a different post.

I’ve contacted the developers of WP-Worthy, as I thought it might be a problem with their plugin. They found out that, in one practical case on my blog, the post-ID before WP-Worthy activates apply_filters() is 102, afterwards 457, which is the ID of the wrong post Page Builder loads.

They further found out, that the problem seems to lie in line 890 of siteorigin-panels.php after calling siteorigin_panels_render(). It seems like this function faultily interprets when another plugin runs an apply_filters(“the_content”,…) in post editor.

They said you can also contact them directly if you need more feedback to this problem: support (at) wp-worthy.de

I would be grateful for your help!

    Hi Itristan

Thanks for reaching out. Greg recently had a go at answering a similar question. If you have a moment, please, check his reply here: Thread: apply_filter on string returns unexpected result with Page Builder.

Sorry we weren’t to reply sooner, hopefully the above link helps explain what’s happening and what can potentially done from the perspective of other plugins.
