Conflict between Page Builder by SiteOrigin and Modern Events Calendar Lite

I updated both plugins a couple of weeks ago. Our whole site works like normal except when I try to display the calendar. The page doesn’t load and I get this error:

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at flipcount.js?ver=5.6.2:311

When I deactivate Page Builder the calendar works just fine. I’m new to this and any help would be greatly appreciated…

Thank you,
John

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi John

    Thanks for reaching out.

Does the issue persist if you only activate Page Builder and Modern Events Calendar? With all other plugins deactivated does the calendar display?

Yes, I ran a test. I turned of each plugin individually, till Page Builder and Modern Events Calendar were the only ones on and the error was still occurring. I deactivated Page Builder and the Calendar worked. I proceeded to turn each plugin back on and calendar continued to work. The last one I activated was Page Builder and the error returned. Here is a screen grab of the error I am getting.

Here is a link to a screen grab of the error. http://ondemandinteractive.com/screen_grab.jpg.

The actual error occurs on http://lakeshorehog.com/calendar/

Thank you for your help. I’m out of ideas…

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the effort. There is a 500 error in the console that might be related. Here is how you can check the console if you’re interested https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis.

It’s worth enabling debug and debug log, hopefully, further information is available in the log file. Here is how https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-set-up-wordpress-error-logs-in-wp-config/.

I’m able to use the Full Calendar shortcode in Page Builder, here is a screenshot of that https://imgur.com/a/3ouaXns.

    Hello,

I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary in the debug.log

What exactly is the Full Calendar shortcode in Page Builder,. When I look at it calendar inside of my dashboard and I see the same blank screen and the errors of undefined jQuery? I’m at a loss. Is there someone I could pay to help fix this problem? I’m out of my realm here.

    Thanks you,
    John

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi John

What exactly is the Full Calendar shortcode in Page Builder

You can view the calendar shortcodes at M.E. CalendarShortcodes. Full Calendar is one of the available shortcodes. I copied the Full Calendar shortcode and inserted it into an Editor widget in Page Builder.

If I buy the single site license, could someone help me? I’ve had no luck with Modern Event Calendar’s tech support. They say that they are having no reports, but I know that when I turn off Page Builder the calendar works. But I think it is them, but I’m not sure and I’m not familiar with WordPress in general.

I’ll gladly buy the license and let you look inside the dashboard. I’m lost…

Thank you and let me know
