Conflict between Page Builder and Fitness theme by Skat

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

I cannot edit any pages when I activate Page Builder under by Fitness theme (by Skat) version 1.2.1.
When I temporarily activate the Moesia theme (version 1.4.1), the page edit seems to work.
I’ve tried uninstalling Page Builder and re-installing it. Still no effect.
I am using wordpress 4.6.1, Page Builder version 2.4.19.

Other plugins installed are:

Events Manager by Marcus Sykes, ver 5.6.6.1
Facebook Feed WD by WebDorado, ver 1.0.12
Google for WordPress by Massimo Della Rovere, ver. 1.9.4
Meta Tag Manager by Marcus Sykes, ver. 2.0.2
Polylang by Frédéric Demarle, ver. 2.0.9
SD Fitness Post Types by Skat Design, ver 1.0
SD Shortcodes by Skat Design, ver 1.0
Slider Revolution By Theme Punch, ver. 5.3.0.2
Toolset Types by OnTheGoSystems ver. 2.2.4
Weekly Class Schedule by Pulsar Web Design, ver. 3.18
Weekly Class Schedule – Expansion Pack 1, by Pulsar Web Design, ver. 1.0

Please let me know if there is a fix for this conflict.

Thanks

    Hi Luciano,

I’m sorry to hear this. :(
To clarify, does this issue occur when only SiteOrigin Page Builder and this theme are active?

By editing pages, do you mean that SiteOrigin Page Builder appears broken (as in, instead of the page builder layout you’re seeing HTML) or that changes aren’t saved? If it’s the former, can you please view a “broken” page in the editor and send me the contents of your console? Could you please send me the contents of your console? Please refer to this guide on how to access your browser console.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response.

Yes, only when both the theme and SiteOrigin Page Builder are active. What happens is that when I click to edit a page, I see a blank white screen with no options. When I de-activate the pagebuilder, then click to edit a page, it reacts normally.

    Hi Luciano,

A white screen in this context suggests a PHP error. Can you please temporarily enable WP_DEBUG? This will require editing wp-config.php. If you need assistance with doing this I would recommend contacting your hosting provider.
