Hi, love the product. Been using Vantage to create a company website.
I’ve opted to use a prebuilt layout and when activated I ask it replace the vantage theme. Problem is, I have a footer area (with site origin text) that I can’t get rid of. I’d rather just build a footer myself and would like to completely get rid of the footer section. Can’t seem to do this is the settings. Is this possible?

I can’t help you directly remove the theme attribution (as that’s a premium feature) but I can help you reduce the entire footer to nothing but the theme attribution. This, as a result, will allow you to create a custom footer with, say, a layout builder widget (which is the SiteOrgin Page Builder in widget form). Would that be okay?

I already created my own footer, I’m using a child theme, do I need to include the attribution (any problems / laws)?

There’s no legal requirement, no. We would really appreciate it and, unfortunately, it’s unlikely you’ll receive any report from SiteOrigin directly while it’s not present (as it’s not fair for us).
