9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hi,
when I put a bloglist in a page, the comments of the last blog post in the blog list is shown in that page.
I want my pages to have their own comment sections. how can i disable blog list comments in the page?
thanks

    Hi Hosein

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like the comment field you’re seeing is the comments for your blog page itself. If you’re still working on this, try going to PagesBlog, click Screen Options top right, enable Discussion, then, scroll down to the Discussion meta box and disable comments.

I know that I have turned on discussions for that page. but If you look closer, when you turn on disscaussion on a page that has a blog list on it, instead of the pages’ own discussion, the comments of the last blog in the blog list will show up.
please take a look the comment sections of the following page and post:
    http://effeng.ir/
    and
    http://effeng.ir/?p=26302

as you can see, they are the same

Thanks :) Which widget are you using to insert the post loop? Which plugin is powering that widget?

Thanks. Can you perhaps try isolate the issue. Does it occur if you turn off all plugins except for Ultimate Addons, Widgets Bundle and Page Builder? Does it occur in a default theme like Twenty Sixteen?
