Hi!
I changed my theme to Unwind and set it to have a comment link on both blog and post pages. The comment link on the blog page disappeared though, and now there is only a comment link on individual posts.
I have used this theme before and never had this issue as far as I can remember. What could be wrong?

Thank you

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Frugan,

Can you please clarify which comment link you’re referring too? Is this the link you’re referring too?

Is Comments link on single and archive posts enabled? You can find this setting by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsBlog.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

Yes, that’s the one. I enabled the comment link and it appears on single posts and on posts with comments.
Like you see on this page: http://frugan.delacay.com/page/2/ the first post has no comments so no comment link. The second post below it has comments and there the link is visible.

    Hi Frugan,

Thanks. The only reason the Post A Comment text shouldn’t appear is if comments weren’t enabled but that’s obviously not the case. Hm. Do you have any plugins installed that help manages comments? If so, does this issue remain if you temporarily disable them?

If you don’t have any comment specific plugins or disabling those plugins didn’t help, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
