Hi SiteOrigin,
I have a problem with column collapse on a site I created with your lovely Page Builder.
Plugins: Page Builder, Simple CSS, SiteOrigin widget bundle, Toolset Types
Theme: BLDR by modernthemes
I have the same setup at another wordpress site, where the columns collapse nicely. But at this site, they only get more narrow – they do not collapse with content in boxes on top of each other.
PageBuilder settings: Responsive layout check
Row settings: no settings besides Standart collapse, order left on top, cell vertical alignment top
I tried deactivating the Simple CSS and Toolset Types, with no result.
What should I do?
Hi Stine,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Also, what is your Use Legacy Layout Engine set to? You vcan check this by navigating to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the Layout tab. What is Use Legacy Layout Engine set too?
Hi Alex,
Thank you for getting back to me.

Use Legacy Layout Engine is set to Detect older browsers.
I just tried the other possibilities, but it doesn’t seem to change my situation.

Hi Stine,
Please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the Layout tab. Please ensure Use Responsive Layout is ticked.
It is.
Hi Stine,
Hm. Just to rule it out – can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
