Hello siteorigin team,

thank You for letting us using such good builder.

I noticed one problem while creating website, when i put bg image into column it is taking nicely full height.
But when i open the same page in safari, the column is not showing the bg image in column full height like is showing chrome.

Safari is displaying the column bg image only when i give it min-height for example 300px.
Chrome don’t need any min-height to display it.

I would like to save some time and ask if is there any known css code which safari ignore.

Thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Patrik,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

Yes, but not at this sort of level, no. To clarify, are you using the latest version of Safari?

    Hello Alex,

I am using latest version of safari, themes and plugins.

my boss want the page to be closed for public untill it’s finished.
But i can create login for You, and You can check how i had to solve the problem with firefox compatibility.

For example when i was applying the bg image, to the cell or row it wasn’t good, and i fixed it by adding bg image to this selector #pgc-11-1-0 as You will see when You will log in, but it’s not good idea to write here the login informations.

    Hi Patrik,

Can you please temporarily unblock South Africa from your website? Sorry about this!

Hello, after updates it’s working correctly again, but i would like to ask about this weird width setting, why it’s like that?

    width: calc(50% – ( 0.5 * 30px ) );

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Patrik,

The calc allows us to dynamically remove gutter from the row and evenly split the gutter amount based on the number of cells we have.

Thank You, but it’s not making 50% 50% columns, one is still smaller.
I also wrote a bug about safari browser, please check: Thread: Siteorigin column bg image safari bug

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Patrik,

The columns are the same size but the column on the right appears smaller due to the additional padding you’ve applied to the widget in the right column.
