    Thanks for reaching out.

    The default background feature is disabled when using the full width layout in Vantage. If you shift over to the boxed layout from Theme Settings > Layout then the regular background feature will be restored. This has to do with the way the full width layout is setup.

    You can set a background color for the main container in full width but it’s only appropriate for very subtle colors or textures because it goes behind the content. Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Page is where you’ll find it. It’s a theme wide setting.
