When i click Apperance > Customize the colour menu dosen’t appear until a few second later then it dissapears if i am quick enough i can click on it quickly an was able to change the background colour. However it is a pain in the ass. I need to change the masthead colour and cant and and cant change the footer only the backgrounf image again if i’m quick enough.
I bought this VANTAGE theme so i didnt have to do the css, now im stuck, can anyone help me i paid for the premium theme for this reason.

Apologies, the documentation needs an update.
You’ll find all the options you’re looking for at Appearance > Customize > Theme Design.
The masthead background color is at Theme Design > Page > Masthead Background Color.

Hi Andrew thanks for you information, this is the area i have been in whilst i have the opportunity to add a masthead background image the Masthead Background colour is unclickable .
The page background can be changed i have changed it to #cdecf8 however i cannot change the masthead background colour to #09a5df i remains in
#masthead {
background: #ffd711
}
When i first downloaded the Premium version of vantage i could do anything with colours as a result i was simply trying out the yellow now it is stuck there which defeats the purpose of buying your product.
Any further assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. First, run all pending updates from Dashboard > Updates. Next, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Hi Andrew i deactivated all plugins and still the same thing happens Appearance > Customize > Theme Design. the colours menu comes up for half a second and dissapears. I am in a difficult situation now any remedy for this would be appreciated.

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

I have solved to problem by doing up a banner in photo shop an replacing the header.. Vantage theme is still not working as it should, it was an unfortunate purchase. I hope you resolve your issues prior to you next update so that others will not have the same issue. If it starts working i will let you know.
