Collumn layout

Hi, this is my first time with WP, I’m using avantage premium and page builder, but I’m stuck …
I need to create a 2 column layout to place a page content :
Here’s an image of what I’ve designed and need to do : http://carnalentejana.16mb.com/?page_id=164

But I can’t manage to do so… far from being a solution this is what I’m getting:
http://carnalentejana.16mb.com/?page_id=9

I’m using an image for sidebar in second example, but that’s not what i want. I want it as a with background color of #731b36, full height and roughly 1/5 of the width.

Could you help me please?
Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Pedro

    Thanks for using Vantage. If you need to place columns within columns you can use our Layout Builder widget. That’ll allow you to nest a Page Builder layout within Page Builder.

    For further help on this, please confirm a url where we can see an image of what you’re looking to achieve. The link provided is going to 404.

    Our Page Builder documentation can be found here; Page: Getting Started With Page Builder.

    Hi Andrew,

    thank you for your reply.

    I'm sorry it took me so long to reply back, but I'm in the middle of a startup creation and it's taking all of my time, literally.

    Thank you guys for such a great theme.

    Hi Andrew,

    I'm really sorry if I'm breaking the rules here but I have a couple of questions and I can't find an answer to them.

    *1st: *
    I used Vantage to build a blog. I nested the blog under a website (*not wp*)
    url.
    Now:
    in the blog, I want the logo to link from the blog (
    http://portugalmultimedia.pt/blog ) to the website (
    http://portugalmultimedia.pt), works like a link to the exterior.
    Apparently the logo pulls the URL out of 'home page' or so, that is the
    'blog' index page (http://portugalmultimedia.pt/blog) and I can't change it.
    How do I do this?

    *2nd: *
    I want the page to *not display page name*.
    I can't use the 'Full width, no name' template, because that would cause the page to loose the sidebar widget, which I want to keep.
    Is it possible? If so, would you please tell me how?

    *3rd:*
    I have a license of Vantage Premium. I Know There's a special 'multi website license' for 50$.
    But do I have do pay for a new license or can I upgrade the one I own?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Pedro

    No problem.

    I can’t think of a way to do this without using a child theme. You can find a child theme starter for Vantage here:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/vantage-child-starter.zip

    You’ll need to create a folder called parts in the child theme and copy masthead.php from the parts folder in the Vantage parent theme into the parts folder in your child theme. Then on line line 9 of masthead.php, replace this line:

    <?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>

    With your new URL. Let me know if you need a hand with this.

    Please try the following at Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Page Titles */

    article.page .entry-header {
    display: none;
    }

    Thanks for your support. Please won’t you email me about this on [email protected], I’ll set things up from there.
