Collapse order in Layout section no effect

Hello,
I’m using the Page Builder with Create theme.
I’ve got a page with multiple rows of two column, each changing between image left, text right, then image right, text left, etc.
But when I try to use the Collapse Order in the Layout section of the rows it has no effect.
Naturally I want the row with the image on the left to collapse with left on top, and the rows with the image on the right with right on top. But when I change that in the Layout section of that row nothing happens.

I’ve also read this thread, https://siteorigin.com/thread/legacy-layout-engine-options-failure/ and a similar issue was raised.

I’ve also considered the possibility of turning off the collapse, but that had no effect either.
Then I tried the instruction from this thread, https://siteorigin.com/thread/page-builder-column-collapse-order/, but it doesn’t look good at all.

Please help!

Thank you!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Claudia,

To clarify, are you using a legacy layout engine? If so, is there a specific reason why? I ask as there are very few reasons why you need to use it so it’s possible you may be preemptively using it when in reality you don’t need to.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

Hi Alex, We are using the Create theme, and no other layout engine as far as I'm aware.
The page we are struggling with is http://dev.agencychina.com/our-story/
It's far from finished, but currently the only concern is the way the page organizes the blocks of logo's and descriptions.
As mentioned before, it doesn't seem to respond to the "left on top" or
    "right on top" settings.
    Hope you can help!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Claudia,

I can confirm you’re using the correct layout engine – please disregard the other threads, that’s about the legacy layout engine.

The settings look to be working correctly for me, but to confirm, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

    Hi Claudia,

Unfortunately, we’re unable to process attachments at this time. Can you please upload the screenshot to a third party image hosting site like Imgur or vgy.me?

To clarify, did you create me an account? If so, we, unfortunately, haven’t received an email from your website yet. Can you please try recreating the account?

    Hi,

I created the user again. Let me know if it works now.
The screenshot is not that important, if you open the site and change screensize to mobile you can see what happens.
It stacks the wrong way, and nothing I do in the settings changes that.

In the meantime I also have another problem that developed.
On the home page the very last row "broke", the padding no longer reacted.
    http://dev.agencychina.com/
Now after loads of fidling is seems to work partly, the button just doesn't center anymore.
It all works on this page (also bottom row):
    http://dev.agencychina.com/profiles/
All the row settings and block settings are the same, for both editor blocks and button blocks. But they don't react the same, or at least not anymore. It was fine before.

Hope you can help with that too.. :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Claudia,

I’ve had a look at the our story page. To clarify, is this the issue?

If so, that’s happening as you’ve disabled the collapse for that row. Please open the row and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set the Collapse Behaviour to Standard. Outside of that row, I don’t see anything wrong but that may be due to my unfamiliarity with your website.

Regarding your new issue. We typically don’t allow multiple issues to a thread (it makes it harder for others to search for that issue) but due to the delay, I’ll make an exception. The issue with the padding on your row is that ThemeTrust adds its own dedicated padding fields and don’t hide ours. This leads to confusion when ours don’t work as they’re being overriden by the theme.

In other words, ignore the crossed out padding in favor of the other padding fields:

Hi Alex, thanks for the feedback on the second point.
Unfortunately for the first it is not the issue I was talking about, I know
I disabled the first row to not collapse, but the subsequent rows are still not collapsing correctly.

please see image above see what I mean. There is no way to make the site listen to the settings in the collapse menu.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Claudia,

I just tried adjusting the collapse order on the Our Story page and it worked without issue ()I adjusted the IP logo). Can you please clarify which row are you having issues with specifically? Also, what is the ordering your after? I suspect you’re after Image and then text on mobile?

correct, it seems to be working again, thanks for your help! And I'll be sure to start a new threat if we have more questions :)
