    Hi Yumiko,

By the looks of things, you should be able to resolve this issue by resaving the features widget adding these icons as it appears to be a styling issue. If that doesn’t help, try altering a setting or two and then try saving once more.

By the way, as you’re a premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on your Page: Dashboard (please refer to the support tab). Please reference this thread and include your SiteOrigin order key in the email.

    Hi Alex,

Thank you very much for your reply. Re-saving the features (within Footer widget) solved the icons in the footer but the icons in the main section are still off. I only have “Sidebar”, “Footer” and “Header” widgets on the right side and Sidebar” and “Header” are empty.

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Hi Yumiko,

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look at your settings?

    Hi Yumiko,

    How does that look?

    Hi Alex,

Perfect. Thank you so much! May I ask how you fixed it?

Oh, I just saw that the other pages still get the same issue. Try press one of the icons.

    Hi Yumiko,

I altered the settings of each of the feature widgets which resulted in the CSS cache being regenerated.

I’ve done the same for the other pages. How does that look?

I will delete the admin account.

    Hi Yumiko,

    Happy I could help! :)

By the way, I would recommend updating Vantage Premium. For reference, the latest version is 2.6 so there’s a pretty significant version difference. You can do this by navigating to WP AdminSettingsGeneral and add your Order Code. Then navigate to WP AdminDashboardUpdates and check for updates. Update Vantage Premium when the option appears.

    Hi Alex,

It says, "Your themes are all up to date."

Sorry to keep bothering you but what can I do to get around this?

  13. Alex S Staff 8 years, 7 months ago

    Hi Yumiko,

That’s odd. Well, if it’s the case your best option would be to manually update the theme. Please fill out this form or email premium support (please refer to my first reply for contact information) and I’ll send you a download link.

Preface: I would recommend doing a WordPress Backup before proceeding with these instructions.

Once you’ve downloaded Vantage Premium, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceThemes and change to a non-Vantage theme, then delete Vantage Premium. Click Add NewUpload Theme and upload/activate the downloaded version of Vantage Premium. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsPremium and input your premium code if you haven’t already.

In Vantage 2.5 there was a large settings overhaul so I would recommend taking a look at the Page: Vantage Documentation

    Hi Alex,

I am sorry to bother you again and if you tell me go take my issue to WP support forum, I understand.

Following your instructions, I took backups (downloaded from GoDaddy as well as UpdraftPlus and Duplicator). I switched theme to Twenteen Seventeen and deleted Vantage 2.2.3. I went to Add New > Upload Theme, selected vantage.2.6.zip in my Downloads folder.

But when I clicked “Install Now” I got an error message, “This site can’t be reached. The connection was reset. Try: Checking the connection / Checking the proxy and the firewall / Running Network Diagnostics. ERROR_CONNECTION_RESET”

I tried again but the same thing. I ran network diagnostics and no problem there.

    Any advise is much appreciated.

Hold-on. I am going to do some investigation on my end. I shouldn’t bother you on this.

    Hi Alex,

After talking to support guys at GoDaddy and Spectrum, I gave up on the idea of uploading the theme manually.
Instead, I installed regular Vantage (not manually). My site looks fine so all is good.

I installed your css plugin. It looks great.

Thank you for all your support work and good luck with Vantage.

    Hi Yumiko,

Glad you figured it out mate. :)

For future reference, it sounds like the issue you were experiencing was maximum upload size limit reached.
