Circle Icon Widget Color not changing in Frontend

Hi,
when I try to change the color of the Circle Icon widget in the Backend, the preview shows the change as expected.
But when I refresh my actual site nothing has changed.

Another weird thing is, that my search icon (which is still not showing on the frontend) gets rendered just perfectly fine in the backend (preview).

Any suggestions ?

BTW is there a way to post screenshots ?
Would be easier to describe if I just could upload 2 screens…

    We’ve looked at several instances of the icon bug over the past day or so. Here is the error I can see on your site:

    Font from origin 'http://novum.homepage.t-online.de' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://www.blog.novum-led.de' is therefore not allowed access. (index):1

    Web fonts don’t usually load when the request comes from a domain that’s different from the site’s domain. You can review your settings in this regard under Settings > General. Please be cautious if you decide to change anything there as it does require some reading and preparation.

    Another possible solution is the fix proposed by David Walsh here: davidwalsh.name/cdn-fonts.

    The Circle Icon backgrounds not changing is another problem. Are you perhaps running a caching plugin? If so please clear it. What color do you currently have them set to?

    There is unfortunately no image upload functionality on the forum right now but you could like to images in your Media Library.
