Also have vantage premium on a live site.
Maybe you could sent me the zip file :)
Hi Tonypl,
You can download a basic Unwind child theme here. If the new child theme doesn’t help, can you please elaborate on the issues you’re experiencing?

Thanks Alex, there is no difference to the child theme you sent me to the one I had tried before myself. Basically the page looks broken with the sidebar showing and a repeat of the content below left.
I think that because I made a lot of custom changes to the original theme it does not pick them up, maybe I should have installed the child theme first before customizing. Just wondering? I am bit of a novice when it comes to WP, have no problem with HTML and CSS but PHP is over my head.
It is not a big problem as it is only a development site on my computer. The theme itself is really fantastic and works very well with woocommerce.
Wish you a happy and successful 2017
All the best for the new year Alex, hope it is not to wet up in Brisbane for the celebrations :)
Cheers, Tony
PS: Did leave a reply on the forum regarding unwind child theme
Hi Tony,
Ah, yeah that’s likely it then. I would recommend moving any changes you’ve made to the child theme as on theme update, they’ll get removed. This will also allow you to work out what change you made is causing this issue. Admitally, if you’ve only made a few edits you may be better off starting over.
Happy new year mate. :)
Thanks for the reply
It’s all good now :) once I activated the child theme I just had to redo all the customizing, like background and font colors etc…
So it really is best practice to create the child theme first before making changes with the customizer.
Cheers, Tony
