Child theme to add to kses.php whitelist

I’m trying to do some click tracking for Google Analytics and need to whitelist the onClick attribute in my tags. I understand that the way to do this is to whitelist the attribute in kses.php.

So, two questions.

1. Has anyone done this before with a Vantage child theme?

2. Do you know of another way to add Google Analytics event tracking to a link?

Thanks,
Larry

    Hi Larry

    Thanks for reaching out.

Do you think this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/removekses/ might work for you?
