Hello. I have been researching the heck out of this and would like to think it doesn’t actually require a code change, and was hoping that you guys could help.

I just did a password reset with you, and that is why I bring it up. In doing a password reset with you, the email comes from [email protected]. I have seen on my own website, where I’m using the Vantage Theme, and I have seen on a couple of other websites that is shows as [email protected].

Seeing that you guys have [email protected] instead of [email protected], was that a simple fix, or did you really have to go into the core WordPress code to make the chnage?

So far, in seeing the examples, and comparing them to the Vantage Theme, I’m not seeing wehre I would even begin to put the code sample and make the change. Therefore, any guidance you can provdie woudl be appreciated.

The following are the references I came across, but I’m not seeing the same code references in the theme I’m using:

Thanks in advance for any insight you have.
Charles

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Charles,

You can add the PHP to your website by either using a child theme or by adding it using a plugin like Code Snippets.

The second link also outlines how to do this using a third party plugin called CB Change Mail Sender – this avoids the need for using PHP.

Thanks Alex for your response. During the time waiting, I found a code option that worked.

Since then, I was curious to know if there was an update to any of your themes or components, because I’m getting some weird behavior. The top menu jumps up whenever I switch from page to page. This behavior started a couple of days ago, and I tried doing back outs in case I did something wrong. That didn’t work.

Also, I thought I had a premium account based on what purchasing one a couple weeks ago. Not sure why it is not displaying on your end.

Anyway, if you have any idea as to why the website is doing what it is doing, I would appreciate any insight. Thanks.

    Hi Charles,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
