    Thanks for reaching out.

    You won’t lose any content when changing themes. You’ll need to assign menus to locations at AppearanceMenus, assign widgets to widget locations at AppearanceWidgets. Other small tasks would be to add your logo to the relevant theme setting and perhaps choose your theme colors.

    If you’d like to create a backup, there are many plugins to choose from, Duplicator is one option.
