Changing The Main Page Meta Slider When The Site Is Translated

Hello, I have the website amensagem.org , I’m starting to translate it into other languages, but I’m having a problem changing the slider on the homepage, because even the user putting in their language (English, Spanish or French) the slider still continues in Portuguese.

I tried to disable in the menu the option: appearance – homepage. And I went to the option to select the homepage manually, but the theme activates the theme again.

I don’t know how to fix this or if it’s a theme bug.

I went to the theme settings option and disabled the homepage slider, but then the option in Portuguese (which is my mother tongue) is without the slider and the option in English, Spanish appears the ones I configured as configured manually within the pages.

    Hi Nathan

    Thanks for reaching out.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

This is the link to the site, if you change the languages you will see that the Meta Slider continues in Portuguese at all.

I have already tried to configure within each one’s individual page, but the theme always searches by default what is configured within the theme configuration.

    Hi Nathan

    Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, our attempts to add multi-language support for the Meta Slider/Smart Slider integration haven’t been successful. Here is what you can do:

    – Set the Page Slider to None.
    – Insert a full-width row at the top of your page in Page Builder.
    – Insert a Meta Slider Widget and select the required slider.

Please, let us know how the above goes.

We recommend migrating to the version of Vantage hosted on WordPress.org. You can migrate by switching to any other theme, deleting Vantage, and then re-installing Vantage fromAppearanceThemesAdd New. Use the search bar at the top right to search for Vantage.

Please, find more information about the Vantage Premium discontinuation below.

In early August 2016 we stopped selling Vantage Premium and introduced SiteOrigin Premium, a single plugin that adds additional functionality to Page Builder by SiteOrigin, the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and all of our themes. In August of 2018 we discontinued email support and updates for Vantage Premium.

Almost all of the additional settings previously found in Vantage Premium are now part of the free Vantage theme hosted on the WordPress.org theme directory. This version is being regularly updated. Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments, two options previously part of Vantage Premium are now addons in SiteOrigin Premium.

If you’d like to make use of the Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments addons in SiteOrigin Premium as well as email support and a host of additional functionality, please find a 30% discount code below:
