I am an origami user and I am trying to change the background color of the site. I remember that in the past this was simple and I could do that easily. However now my actions seem not to take any effect. What I am doing is:
Appearance –> Customize –> Colors –> Background Color, and then performing my selection there. The selection does not take any effect in the preview that is displayed on the left side.
When I publis the changes, these are not showing either. I am sure that the browser is not showing a cached version since I am loading the page in an incognito tab and afterwards I also tried in another device.
My theory is that the changes are indeed takin place, because the updated background color is displayed for a subsecond period of time and then it goes back to the default. It is very very hard to notice unless you are paying attention.
Is origami / site builder, overriding thesese settings? Do I need to pay for a premium version if I want to change the color? (That is ok if the price is reasonable).

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your setup?
We don’t have any settings that are designed to override these settings so I’m not too sure why it’s not working for you. I’ll need to inspect your website to work out what’s going on.
No upgrade is required for this functionality.
