Change width of all images in a post

I am using the Site Origin Editor and use a full width single row. However, the images within my content are not the full width of the post. I have tried to edit the images but they still remain the same size as before. I know I can add wider images with another widget but that seems a lot of extra work. Is there a way to increase the image width for all images within a post in the Sit eOrigin Editor itself?

    Hi Annika

    Apologies for the delay.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi Andrew,

please find the URL to a post below. I haven’t changed it yet because I cannot get the pictures to full width within a text box. To start with I have used some custom CSS to take the sidebar away in a single post and in the text box I have used the full width setting. However, whatever I do with the images I cannot get them to go wider. Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for your feedback. It might be worth reaching out to your theme’s support team at this stage. The #primary container which your main content is in is restricted to 70% width or thereabouts. Usually, making that container full-width is a job for the theme settings or page templates. Most themes have a relatively easy way of handling this.

But what I don’t understand is why I can extend the width of the post itself and the text but not the images in this container. Whether that is 70% or more is fine but the text and the images don’t match up.

    Hi, I Work Here

I’m not quite following but I’ll do my best to reply. The container that the post image/s and content is in is constrained. Page Builder can break out of that container in most themes and achieve full screen width but any content not inserted into Page Builder and set to Full Width Stretched will still be contained in the normal theme container limits. Have theme support perhaps advised on a full-width page template or full-width layout for posts?

They cannot/are not helping. And yes, I get what your are saying – what I don’t understand is why the text within my Page Builder box will go to full width but not the images that I insert in the very same Page Builder box.

    Hi, I Work Here

Sorry for going backwards here. Can you show me an example of this again please:

why the text within my Page Builder box will go to full width but not the images that I insert in the very same Page Builder box.
