I’m using the SiteOrigin button that comes with the widget pack. I’d like some of the text to be black and the CTA to be a different color. When I attempt to add html css to the text, it’s stripped out. Is there a way to do what I want? I would include a screenshot but the spam filters say no.
Here’s the screenshot.
Hi Lucas
Thanks for posting your question.
To remain viable, our free support scope focuses on basic usage and troubleshooting. We’re able to dive into small customizations and more advanced troubleshooting within our premium support scope where we have the budget. That said, I can’t get too deep into this but you should be able to add a
around the words and then target that tag. I did a quick test now and I’m able to save the Call to action widget with a span tag in the button text.
Thanks, Andrew.
I actually do have your premium subscription, but thought I’d post here since it’s non-urgent and the answer might be helpful to others.
I’m not sure I’m reading this right: “add a ? around” but a followup question: are you targeting the span inline or with the stylesheet?
So I just tried this again and it works fine to add a span inline with style instructions. I must have goofed on my syntax earlier. Thanks!
Super, really glad to hear you’ve made progress.
