    Hi Birgit

    You can give the following child theme a try. It’s not an official release, just a quick attempt at this request:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/vantage-child-slider-before-menu.zip

    Download ZIP.
    Install from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme > Activate.
    Test.
    If working redo Appearance > Menus > Menu Locations and Appearance > Customize > Theme Design.

    Hi :)

    Activating a child theme will cause all Customizer settings to reset. It’ll also cause all menu locations to reset. That’s expected. If you’re happy with the child theme those settings will need to be reapplied.

    Unfortunately, this child theme does indeed put the masthead and menu below the slider. It’s perhaps most suitable when using the “Logo in Menu” layout. We don’t really offer this level of customisation support so this child theme is as far as we can go down this road. If you’d like developer assistance in making further changes we highly recommend the developers at Codeable.

    Thanks for your understanding and kind offer.

    I can log this as a feature request. That’s more of a medium to long term process of review. To get this rolled out right away your best bet would be to look at using like Codeable.

    Hi Birgit

    Try going to AppearanceTheme Settings, ensure that the Masthead Layout is set to Logo in Menu.

    Edit the row with gold background by clicking the wrench icon far right then Edit RowTheme, ensure the No Bottom Margin setting is enabled.

    Concerning the margin under the row … I set this point, but it did not work. This time I did again, and suddenly it worked … Strange ..
