Change menu names for header menu and primary menu on mobile?

By aungar93, 6 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 6 years ago.

Hi,

I have 2 menus that appear on my mobile site, one in the header and one as the main menu in the menu bar. I would like to change what the name of both menus appears as on mobile, rather than them both being called ‘menu’.

I would like the header menu to be called ‘my account’ for example, and the primary menu to have no name and just display the 2 horizontal lines icon.

my website is: www.pawspetsuppliesltd.co.uk

Thanks,

Adam

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Adam,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible at this time without some custom coding. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

To clarify, it’s possible to change one menu items name but not both. You can change the mobile menu text by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsNavigation and adjust the Mobile Menu Text field.

In the meantime, I would recommend replacing the default menu with a Max Mega Menu widget.

If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on Codeable.
