Change ‘Menu’ name on both menus in mobile view

Hi,

I am using the Vantage Theme – which is excellent – and have included a second menu in the masthead with the ‘Custom Menu’ widget.

Everything looks fine on desktop and tablet but on mobile devices both menus are shown with the name ‘Menu’. I have tried to make changes from Appearance > Customise > Navigation > Mobile Menu Text, but any changes made affect both menus.

Is it possible to change these names to:

1) ‘Products’ (from the main nav bar menu)

2) ‘Main Menu’ (from the masthead custom menu widget)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Margaret

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Margaret,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you. I would recommend using some like Max Mega Menu to handle your menu system instead.

We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.

    Hi Alex,

Thank you for the advice. I am loath to use any more plugins but have managed a work-around as a temporary measure.

Customise> theme settings> navigation > mobile menu text. Added ‘&nbsp:’ here which removed both menu labels. It doesn’t look quite so bad now.

    Thank you again.
    Margaret
