Change from Minimax to SiteOrigin

Hi,

The WordPress version that I’m using (4.8.2) seems to not be compatible anymore with the Minimax plugin, so I basically cannot modify anything within the web page. I thus want to change the page builder into SiteOrigin. Has anyone done this before? I don’t want to miss anything already built with the Minimax plugin…

    Hi Miren,

    Unfortunately, we’re not very familiar with Minimax, but if Minimax is like most page builders this likely won’t be a seamless/simple transition. I would recommend creating a staging site of your website (a website separate to your main website) and try this. This will let you know how complicated this will be and in turn.

    I would use Duplicator to do this (don’t touch any of the settings during the export process -they’re absolutely fine) or All in In WP Migration (use this if you already have a separate WordPress install you would like to use and just want to move the data over).
