Hi
I’ve setup a child theme on my website which I have used to handle the customisation of my website. The theme I’m using is from athemes.com and is bundled with SiteOrigin. When I use page builder the ‘Widget title color’ and ‘Headings color’ default to a dark grey/black. Annoyingly I have to click in to these to clear them so that they don’t override my child theme style sheet. Is there a way to change the default colors used on the widget Design options?
Many thanks
Will
Hi Will.
Unfortunately, the defaults are being applied by your theme. There’s sadly no simple way to override it without preventing those fields from working as you’ll need to force this with CSS. Unfortunately, however, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums.
We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.
If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.
