I am using SiteOrigin Slider on my home page, which looks great on desktop, but the slider is too thin on mobile. I notice there is an option to add custom css on mobile for the slider, but have too little knowledge to know what to change. Is there a way to crop the sides of the slider image, and maybe double the size vertically, to achieve a result similar to the image below?
Hi XGrape,
You could, in theory, use CSS to accomplish this but I wouldn’t recommend it as it’ll make making changes significantly more complicated. Your best bet would be to change to a SiteOrigin Hero widget instead which will allow you to set a hard height and then set a height that works best for the design you’re after (I would recommend setting the height unit of measurement to vh – try 40vh for example).
If you would like to go the CSS route, Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your slider?
