Centre Logo checkbox doesn’t seem to work

Hi there,
The Centre logo checkbox does not seem to centre the logo? I have also found other custom css that is supposed to do this but that doesn’t work either. I am using Vantage Premium.
My site is under development so not visible at the moment.
I had some other problems with the customise screen before the last update – is this also a problem with the new version?

    Hi Janie

    Are you by any chance using the “Logo in Menu” masthead layout option? The center logo option only actually works when you’re using the default masthead layout.

    I see what’s happening. You’re using the Jetpack logo. We added support for this recently, in the version 2.3 update. Unfortunately, we update that center logo option to support it.

    I’ve logged an issue in our issue tracker. We’ll be sure to fix this in our next update.

    In the mean time, you could remove the jetpack logo and upload one in Appearance > Theme Settings, under the logo tab. The other option is to use the following custom CSS (under Appearance > Custom CSS).

    header#masthead .hgroup {
   text-align: center;
}
header#masthead .hgroup img.site-logo {
   display: inline-block
}

    Hi greg,
    Thanks that css has solved the problem :-)

    FYI I was not aware I was using the Jetpack logo. I deleted the logo from the media library and added it again both thorough media library & then through Appearance: Customise but neither of these options worked with the centre logo checkbox. I had to use the css to get it working.
