Hello, I have searched the forums and found similar topics, but not quite what I need. I would like to do something that I imagine is simple, but I can’t quite navigate my php files like I would like to.
I would like to center the title on my home page, while leaving titles of all of my other pages like they are, left justified. I want to do this because I am using the title of my home page as a message and not so much a title. I realize that there are other ways to handle this (hide the title then maybe put in a different h1 or something), but I figured this was a quick and dirty way to accomplish my needs.
My thought was to add an ID to the home page title, then use some custom CSS to center that ID, but I don’t know how to find the home page title and then add the ID to it.
I have probably over complexified this issue, so if anyone has any other ideas, I am open.
Thank you!
Hi pjbrown11
Try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:
Hope that helps.
This solves it. See, I knew it was easy! Thank you very much.
And thank you for the great theme and other plug-ins. My site, albeit I am slightly biased, looks professional and is really easy to manage and make most of what I need to happen, happen.
Thank you for everything, SiteOrigin!
Awesome, glad to hear that helped. We appreciate the support and positive feedback :) All the best with your site.
