Hello, i want to put the widget with shortcode on one page and it shows up, but it is displaying the most recent posts. I need to display only the post from one category. Hot to set it up ?

I haven’t used a widget to do this in the past so I can’t strongly recommend a plugin. You might try https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-categories-widget/, it looks like that widget has the option to exclude categories from the list.
