Category Post – marker & thumbnails problem

Hello,
after update SiteOrigin to the newest version I noticed two strange things, and I cannot find a nice lookin’ solution so I would like to ask you for help:
1. Category post excerpts are divided by a “dot” – I can see it in a source code as a “marker”. I want that it would be in the same line as the title are, not above the title line because it looks strange. Where can I change it?
2. Right now the image/thumbnail of Category post is below the title and excerpts, not wrapped as used to be. I’ve tried to change it but no result… Can you help me?

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

    Both items would ideally be managed by the widget or shortcode that is outputting. Unfortunately, SiteOrigin doesn’t have control over the widget or shortcode that is being used. Are you perhaps using https://wordpress.org/plugins/category-posts/ ? If so, you could try opening a support thread with the developer to see if they can lend a hand.
