I have 2 questions:
1) I tried adding some text to a category description expecting it to appear at the top of the archive page for that category but it doesn’t. There’s a note on the category page that says “The description is not prominent by default; however, some themes may show it”. I assume you’ve just chosen for Vantage not to use the text? Is there an easy way to enable this functionality?
2) the category and tag information at the bottom of posts is tiny! How can I modify the CSS to improve this. Also, I’m using Jetpack related-posts and social sharing. These 2 items push the “posted in…” infor down. is there anyway to move it? Ideally, having it up near the date (“posted on…”) just under the title would be great.)
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Mike
Thanks for your support.
Vantage does display the category description. Please, send a link to a category page that you’ve added a description to and we will investigate further.
Add the following to Appearance > Custom CSS and edit as required to change the font size of the categories and tags listed below each post:
Unfortunately, moving the function would be a custom development task, beyond what we’re able to offer on the forums.
