How come the Post Loop carousel template is not working with “slide with finger” on mobile devices? I would think that would be the obvious approach?
And, the Post Loop doesn´t look very responsive on mobiles. Any news on that?
Here´s what I mean. The thumbnails are soooo tiny…

Hi Jakob
Sorry we missed this post. Unfortunately the post carousel doesn’t currently have support for swipe. This is something we’d like to implement in the future though.
Meta Slider lets you build swipe enabled carousels, so that is an alternative option.
What type of post loop is that in the image? It looks somewhat similar to our grid loop, but that should be collapsing on mobile devices.
Hi Greg!
Don´t worry, we all miss things sometimes… :-)
Yes, please implement that soon! :-)
It´s actually the Gallery PB (not post loop, sorry) widget that you see in the picture. I´m using that with the Attachment Pages Redirect plugin.
The thought is to present the speakers to our event so when clicking on an image you come to the post associated with that image (hence the redirect plugin). That´s how I solved it since it´s not possible to link to certain posts, just to attachment pages.
Do you btw have another, great looking solution for this?
the url is http://visavagen.samhall.se
And, final question: Is it possible to show post dates in the Post Loop (PB) on the home page? Please say yes! :-)

Hi Jake
I can’t immediately think of another solution to link gallery images to your posts. A Post Loop widget could be used if you used the last field of the Post Loop widget, Additional, to filter the posts you wanted to display:
cat=x
Where x is the category ID you want to filter.
Dates aren’t displayed in the Post Loop templates besides the Blog template. You could however use the Grid template in the Post Loop widget and manually insert a date into the Excerpt field of each post. A manual fix but it could work.
