Can’t remove white space above heroimage

Hi everyone,

I’m creating my first website: http://escapecapitalism.com/ :)
I’m currently in the process of setting up a beautiful homepage with siteorigin, but I can’t remove the white space above the hero image.
None of the prior solutions I found in the forum have worked, all the CSS codes I copied and pasted won#t work, and inspect element isn’t helping either.

Can someone give me a step by step solution for first timers?
