Hi, I have recently started with the Vantage-theme and I like the results so far. Luckily there was an online youtube-tutorial to give me some guidance. There is a problem I have tried to solve on my own (and I’ve also tried Google) without success.
Below the pictures I have uploaded the pagetitle keeps showing up, regardless of the following attempts:
– Deleting and/or replacing the text in ‘Edit gallery’
– Page attributes -> Template -> Full width page, no title
– Page settings -> Page title -> unchecked the ‘Display’ box
– Deleted the page and opened a new one
– Deleted the pictures and reuploaded them
– Deleted the gallery and opened a new one
It’s not about the caption, it’s about the title you see right below the picture after you’ve clicked on the thumbnail.
So let’s say my pagename is ‘Photography’ and in this page I have 3 different pictures. Somehow all 3 of these pictures have the title ‘Photography’ and I don’t know how to remove it.
Hopefully someone can help me out.
Kind regards,
Krishna
Hi Krishna,
Do you by any chance have a public URL where I can take a look at the issue? This would be the best way for me to diagnose what’s going on.
Hi Alex,
The public URL is http://www.krishnaive.net/photography/
Hi Krishna,
What are you using for a gallery? Does this issue happen when that plugin isn’t activated?
If that doesn’t help, I can take a closer look if you would like. Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?
Hey Alex,
After deactivating the plugin and installing a new one the problem was solved. Thanks for your help!
This is a private message.
Hi,
The problem has been solved thanks to your tip of deactivating the plugin. Should I still create the account for future-questions?
Hi Krishna,
Awesome. :)
No, please don’t create an account unless it’s specifically needed for a thread.
