Can’t Install Page Builder

9 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 9 years ago

I keep getting an error when trying to install Page Builder.

The plugin does not have a valid header

Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/siteorigin-panels.2.4.16.zip…

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /www/sites/1a2/843/www.panoramicfixers.com/web/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/

Plugin install failed

My site is www.panoramicfixers.com, operating with newest WP version and I am trying to change the theme.

Can anyone help?

Cheers
Mike

    Hi Mike,

Unfortunately, this looks to be a failed plugin install. This can sometimes happen in WordPress and when it does it’s quite tricky to resolve. You’ll need to FTP into your website and navigate to wp-content/plugins/, Then remove the so-widgets-bundle directory. If you need help with doing this I would recommend contacting your hosting provider.
