Cant figure out how to edit footer anymore?

Hey everyone, I have the Vantage premium theme and I cant figure out how to edit the footer anymore to delete my twitter integration widget I added. Also my social media buttons are all bundled together now and not boxes like they used to be.. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Also my search button is randomly disappearing and not showing the search logo sometimes when I visit the site.

    Footer
    The footer widget area can be changed from AppearanceWidgets or AppearanceCustomizeWidgets.

    Header
    If you only want to use widgets for the header, check out our new widget area at AppearanceWidgetsMasthead. It replaces the logo and header widget area. Just as with the footer, a column is added for each widget.
