Can’t edit with page builder

Heya.

I had a long break from editing my site. And now I can’t use page editing with page builder. It only shows a gray screen. Like many other posts here, I can normally edit pages when page builder is deactivated.
I only know the basics of my site, because it was made by students at the time, and have no contact to them anymore.
So I’m scared to do anything big to try fix it – a lot of the site can be lost by updating the theme and removing page builder to my knowledge. I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins but that didn’t help.
Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Jay.

    Could you please show me a screenshot of what you’re seeing? Seeing gray isn’t a typical error so I’m not too sure what you’re actually seeing. Please note that you’ll need to upload the screenshot to a site like vgy.me or imgur as we’re currently unable to handle image uploads.

    I would recommend doing a backup to ensure that even if further issues occur, you’ll be able to rollback.
