Can’t edit SiteOrigin Buttons after creating

I am having the issue described in this thread: https://siteorigin.com/thread/i-cant-edit-buttons-after-creation/

The solution there was to adjust the settings in WordFence. But we currently have WordFence disabled as it was affecting something else.

Does anyone know of a server-level setting I can change in CPanel that might help me get around this?
