* Using WordPress 4.7 running Talon Child 01 theme
I’m new to SiteOrigin and when I go to page “Contact Us” and SiteOrigin Headline and try to change the text “WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!” colour to RED, it does not change.
This has happened on other pages as well

Hi Karl,
There’s something on your website that is forcefully overriding the color.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If the above doesn’t help, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

I’ve deactivated all non-site origin/Athemes plugins and the problem persists.
I’ve found that if you go to the right side menu to Design and change the “Headings Colour” then the text changes but not if you change the colour in “Headline” settings. See attached screenshot.

That explains what’s overriding the headers color then. That functionality is actually non-standard and was likely added by aThemes. I would get in contact with them to see if there’s an easy way of globally setting this setting.
