7Hi Ru-an
Thanks for reaching out.
All WordPress.org themes completely overwrite their own folder during theme updates. Any changes made via Appearance > Editor with the parent theme activated will be lost during the theme update process.
Head over to Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Menu to safely set your menu colors.
Thank you! Another question. When Vantage is updated will it appear under the Premium tab of the Theme Settings?
For sure :)
Ensure that your order number is inserted at Appearance > Theme Settings > Premium.
When the next update is shipped it’ll become available at Dashboard > Updates.
All the best.
Thank you. I have one last question and then I promise I’ll go away. This may not fall under your service so it’s ok if you don’t answer but do you now how do you get rid of the bleeding of the red into the white of this logo for my blog? I’ve tried to use an online editor for it but couldn’t fix it.

Sure. It’s not really possible/easy to clean that up. It’s a compression artefact. Ideally, the logo should have been saved as a PNG. The best way to resolve would be to try get a hold of the original file and re-export.
Thank you! Fixed :-)
Super, glad to hear that helped.
All the best.
