Can’t add or change images/text

I am having trouble with your plugin. I have a new wordpress website and this is what I have done so far:

I installed WordPress on my new domain in Swedish version 4.4.2.sv.
The only plugins active on the website are Page Builder by SiteOrigin and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
There is no content on the website except 5 pages with a couple of words on them.

When trying to build my pages using your plugin I am not able to add any content or change existing content when using premade content. Take Hero image for an example. I add the row and then add the widget to my page. When I have the editing window open I can’t add image or minimize tabs or add anything. I click “”Add”” but nothing happens, it’s just like regular text. In the premade content I can see there is an image in the hero image but I can’t remove it or add my own. The same with text on other premade widgets or even making my own. I add the text but when I save it it disappears and the premate “Lorem ipsum” text is still there.

I have tried changing browsers to see if it was a cookie issue or anything like that. It is the same issue in Firefox, IE and Chrome.

I tried changing to different default WordPress themes like: Twenty sixteen, Business elite, Athena, Omega or Button. The issue remains.

I am no expert on websites and I not a programmer so I was wondering if there was an easy fix for this?

      Hi, I Work Here

      Hi Thewisetravellers,

Do you currently have Wordfence installed?

      If you do:
This is a WordFence issue. The issue is that it’s initially very strict so things like the Learning Mode do definitely help in resolving issues like this one. However, if you want to “skip” the learning process and just use your widgets you can do so pretty easily. Go to the affected widget and open it up, don’t get “blocked” yet. Instead open up another tab on WP AdminWordFenceLive Traffic and filter it by blocked traffic. Then make an adjustment to your button widget and you’ll get blocked. Go back to the Wordfence tab and press the whitelist param from FireWall button. This is 100% safe as the contents of the field are not at all close to what would be required for an XSS attack. (it’s really quite odd it would even suggest such a thing…).

Let me know if this helps.

      If you don’t:
Could you please start a new thread? This way we don’t flood Rannveig with unrelated emails.
