Can’t access siteorigin editor

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Hey

My website is created almost entirely using SiteOrigin Page Builder. I’ve recently had to clear a lot of plugins due to Malware and have restored my site to a previous stage. I also believe my wordpress has updated to the new version in this time.

Sinc e these changes, I now see next to each page on ‘pages’ it says – SiteOrigin Page Builder which would assume I could use the editor. However, when I actually go to edit the page I can only access the WP editor – there is no Site Origin tab – just visual or text. The blocks I’ve used to split my content are gone.

I noticed on the forum a few days ago one of your team told someone to download the ‘classic editor’ plugin. I’ve tried this and downloaded a similar named plugin – In the hope one would work but I’m still unable to access the SiteOrigin editor on both old pages and new pages I create.

Please help me!

    Hi Sarah

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please, go to Plugins and confirm that Page Builder by SiteOrigin and the Classic Editor are activated. If they are and the Page Builder tab isn’t showing on pages, try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin and then re-check a page to see if the issue has resolved.
