Hi,

I have a problem when editing Front Page on my site. Again :(
I use SiteOrigin Page Builder and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugins on my site as recomended by Sydney theme developers.
But, I can’t edit My Front page at all when SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is on. I see only a white screen instead of an edit panel. Everything works on other pages.
I deactivated SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin and cleared the caches. After that, editing console appeared, so I could edit My Front Page. Then, I re-enabled plugin, and the issue came back.
A couple weeks before that, I found that the Hero Image Widget plugin was a reason of a similar problem. When it’s on, the edit page did not work. Only on Front Page. Since I didn’t use it at that moment, I deactivated it, and the issue has disappeared.
Now, a problem appeared again. As I said before, the problem occurs when SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is enabled, so I alternately deactivated the plug-ins in Bundle, one by one, but this did not work.
I would be really grateful for your help!

Regards,
Gala

    Update

The issue disappears when Toolset Types plugin is disabled. After re-enabling plugin, the issue is returned. This plugin also recomended by by Sydney theme developers. I’m not sure, if I can use Sydney correctly theme without it.

So, I can’t to edit my Front Page when SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin or Toolset Types plugin is enabled.
Now I don’t know at all what the reason of problem…

    Looking forward to your reply!
    Regards,
    Gala

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Gala,

Does this issue still occur when you disable all non-SiteOrigin plugins and if Toolset Types is still active? If it does, does this issue happen for all posts/pages or only sections created via toolset Types?

    Thank you for reply!
After another testing, I found that the issue also disappears when All In One SEO Pack Plugin is disabled!
So, the issue occurs when one of these three plugins is enable:
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, Toolset Types, or All In One SEO Pack Plugin.
The problem happens only on Front Page. I can see only a white screen instead of an edit panel. The rest of pages work.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Gala,

That sounds like you’ve reached the memory limit. You need to apply a pretty hands on fix to resolve this issue. This article would be a good read as it’ll outline how to change it. You’ll need to edit wp-config.php. If you’re unfamiliar with FTP, I would recommend asking your hosting provider for help with editing this file.

    You’re right!
Looks like the problem was really in memory limit.
    Thank you!
