I am using WordPress 4.4.2 on an ubuntu server. I followed this guide https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-configure-secure-updates-and-installations-in-wordpress-on-ubuntu for additional security.
I installed your PageBuilder software – no problem.
I created a site page, then added a row and attached the visual editor. When I put text into the visual editor and then click “Done”, nothing is saved.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Ray,
Sorry for the delay. Is this still an issue you’re having?
No problem with the delay, and thanks for providing great WordPress tools for us.
We reinstalled with an earlier version of WordPress (4.3.3). Everything worked perfectly after we made that change. It’s difficult for us to tell where the problem was–TinyMCE Visual Editor or the PageBuilder, but there’s something buggy when used in that ubuntu WordPress 4.4.2 install. My hunch was that the problem was in PageBuilder.
If I can help you by giving you more details about what we were doing or the exact configuration, please let me know. But the only change we made to remedy the problem was to go back to that earlier WordPress version–same db (mysql), same set of plugins, and still with the secure configuration mentioned in the initial post.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for the information. I’ll try and replicate this but, well, I can’t make any promises I’ll be able to. :(
