Can you add Google ReCaptcha to only a Registration page without plugin?

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Is there a way to implement the Google reCAPTCHA v2 on one page without a plugin? (I’m using Vantage)
I want to put it here on the Registration page for new member signups: https://pirateswithben.com/register/

Trying to use Google’s guide, but I’m not sure where to put the code or how to edit the code so it will only appear on that one part of the site. https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/display

Thanks!
Ben

    Hi Ben

    Thanks for posting.

We, unfortunately, aren’t able to assist with custom development within our free support scope. WPBegginer appears to be down at the time of writing but here is what looks like a suitable post on the topic: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-captcha-in-wordpress-login-and-registration-form/. If you aren’t able to complete a custom development task, it’s worth considering a plugin, some can be very lightweight. Hope you’re able to make progress.

Thanks Andrew! I appreciate the response. Going with a plugin for now.
