Firstly , thanks for this awesome pagebuilder plugin. It is highly customizable and featureful and meets almost all the needs.
I am interested to build some commercial add ons/plugins based on this plugin ( that will be dependent on this plugin ).

The thing that would be better to let me know is, is this allowed ?

    Absolutely! :)
    This is 100% allowed and we highly encourage any development of plugins and themes, be they free or commercial.
    If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check out the SiteOrigin Developer Docs.
    Also, ideally, please include any plugins of ours you use via TGM Plugin Activation or an equivalent.
