Can I add a Facebook Like Box into PageBuilder?

Hi
I’d like to add a Facebook Like Box into my PageBuilder as opposed to the sidebar, as I have clear borders down the side of all of my pages and want the box to be in the body of the page.
I’ve tried adding the IFRAME code to a Text box and also downloading and using the Facebook Like Box widget but neither of these seem to work as no box is shown on my page.
I’ve had a look on the web and all instructions seem to be for installing the Like Box in the sidebar and not in PageBuilder.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Ross

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ross

Which Facebook like box widget are you using? I’d expect this solution to work.

One solution that might work is to use the iframe shortcode plugin, and insert a shortcode into a Visual Editor widget. You’ll just need to grab the URL and other attributes from the actual Facebook iframe.

    Hi Greg

    Thanks for your response.

I’ve tried installing a few different Facebook Like Boxes and I can’t seem to get any of them to work in a row on my page… Is there one in particular you’d recommend? I also tried the iframe shortcode plugin but I don’t think I’m technically knowledgeable to make it work..

    Thanks
    Ross

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ross

Give this plugin a try: https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook-button-plugin/

In plugin settings set the plugin to use a shortcode. You can then insert its shortcode into any Text/Visual Editor widget:

     [fb_button]

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks Andrew
I couldn’t find in the plugin Settings how to set the plugin to use shortcode…
So I pasted the [fb_button] text you gave me into the Text (as opposed to Visual) part of a Visual Editor widget. However, it only shows 2 blue boxes with ‘My Page’ and ‘Like’, not the full Like box (i.e. photos of people etc), which is what I’m after.

    Am I missing something?

    Hi, I Work Here

Unfortunately this plugin doesn’t offer that, just a like button. There are other plugins for this. Perhaps try the following:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-facebook-feed/

We unfortunately don’t have our own plugin in this area.
