Call to Action Buttons Look Wrong

On my site http://cheapdomains.site on the Homepage and 3 others I have Call to Action Widgets.

But, there’s far too much white space between the rows. Also, some of the text within the buttons is offset, not in the centre.

Is there a way to fix this, perhaps with CSS code, which will work for all pages where I have those widgets?

Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

Sydney (the theme you’re using), by default, applies 100px of vertical spacing between rows. You’ll need to override that to prevent that from happening. There may be an easier way of doing this but you can override the row padding by opening the row (click the wrench icon above the row) and heading over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Theme settings group and adjust the padding setting (read: set to 0).

I can’t seem to see any offset text. Hm. Are you referring to the buttons in general?

Thanks, Alex, that worked fine. The rows look much cleaner now.

Re the offset problem, on the page http://cheapdomains.site/business-domain-names/ all the buttons are symmetrical and look to be centered below one another (though on that page I’ve not ‘removed’ the border by altering the background color on those buttons)

On the other pages (see http://cheapdomains.site/health-domains/) the buttons are all offset to the right.

At one point the text itself was offset to one side and came outside of the buttons, but someone on the W.P. forum gave me some CSS code to use so the text is fine.

So, the problem is I’d like the buttons to be below one another centered, if possible.

    Hi,

Okay, so that’s just how the CTA widget is designed. The button is always off centered to allow for spacing for the text (even when not present).

I would recommend using the SiteOrigin Button widget over the SiteOrigin CTA widget based on your usage as that widget will allow you to center the button and it doesn’t account for text.

Thanks Alex. I’ll follow up on your suggestion to change the type of widget I use.
